...at least one of them. So I went out on a ride this morning, took care of some things, came home and my Ol Lady says that Harvey (one of our kid's two rabbits) is hurt. Well, He and the other one (Maxx) have been fighting and such but nothing too bad, but somehow today, Maxx either ripped open Harveys nutsack, or it got caught on the cage or something, but bottom line is one of his balls is hanging out by a thread, by a thread i mean all the important sinew and vessels and gross stuff. Apparently it looks...intact (I'm not an expert on rabbit balls), except its hanging out and was bleeding. there was blood everywhere. He is not acting like he's hurt too bad, hes been staying alone in the corner though, mostly cleaning himself. he lets us pet him and he came out to eat and all that. but we don't know what to do. One of my Brothers from my club used to raise rabbits, as well as other animals and he said it should prob just be clipped and treated. but all the vets we get ahold of say he will prob be put down, not that we can afford a vet anyway. we are behind on bills kind of broke. Anyone (i doubt it) had this happen before, or have any ideas? will it just fall off? idk...help

Holy crap! I would try to find someone through someone you know that is good with animals, But if they say he needs to be put down, let him fight it out but make him edibles for the pain
ok so i own rabbits and that has never happened, but he is going to die. rabbit are very fragile creatures any kind of cut can induce shock or they can die from infection. Him staying near the corner means that he is ill. and tend not to be so active. find some one with some kind of medical knowdledge. that area needed to be cleaned right when it was cut open, severed the testicle and stitch it bach up, but then again its too late for him. he must have infection by now. I feel for him because i have rabbits and it would hurt if one of them died
He was out down. Sad but we told our daughter he went to the vets to be adopted. Better than the "farm" all my animals went too. Thanks guys
