QWISO Questions

    I just have a couple questions to ask about qwiso hash, first of all, would the weed used be smokeable after it is completely dried out? I figure that if the hash is smokeable after the Iso has evaporated, wouldn't the weed? Also, Our batch has been sitting in front of a fan by the window for 23 and a half hours now, and for some reason it is still a little sticky on the sides and in the middle. Is this normal and if it is still like that at the 24 hour mark does that just mean some THC was released and turned into oil or is it still Iso alcohol?

    K so we're approaching the hour mark, and for some reason the QWISO is still sticky in the middle and on the sides, but there is alot of dry stuff too? What's going on?

    1: The weed is smokeable, but practically useless as the ISO leeches nearly all the cannabinoids out of the herb. It would take a LOT to get lit if you properly made and strained the QWISO.

    2: The stickiness could be excess chlorophyll, I used to have trouble with it as well. Perhaps cut back on the soaking time a bit.

    3: The separation is probably a separation of cannabinoids [hash] from chlorophyll or other impurities.

    I should be more specific, it is almost a sticky film kind of all over. When I scraped some of it up, it came up and was dark brown with alot of crystals stuck to the gooey substance, is it safe?

    Yeah. If its really sticky its probably the chlorophyll. Smell it thoroughly, make sure there isnt strong odors of isopropyl. 24 hours over the fan should have been plenty of time tho, some of my iso batches have evapped in less than 6.

    K so me and a buddy smoked it, we scraped it, and the shit is like dark brown, but we figured it's the chlorophyl, but it tastes REALLY weird? Should we stop and go to the hospital lol? Also we put a bit of the dried and used qwiso weed in the bottom, the weed was completely dry.
