QWISO Hash Gone Wrong? Or Incrediblly Right?

Discussion in 'Cannabis Stash Showcase & Strain Photos' started by Typewritermonky, Mar 14, 2010.

  1. So this is my third time making QWISO hash, and everytime I get a greenish liquid that I let evaporate by a fan for ~6 hours until it's all evaporated, then I scrape it and do whatnot to make it good looking hash. This batch I threw some amazing keif into the batch (Some Black Widow keif) and I added the wash I got from QWISO washing my grinder (which I always do). Now, it turned from a green liquid to a golden, orange liquid that is evaporating. It looks like it's evaporating fine, but why such a dramatic change in the color of the evaporating liquid? I'll post pics soon.

    TL;DR:
    Making QWISO hash
Poured green liquid onto evaporating plate
    While evaporating, turned golden.
    What to do?

  2. it must have been a chemical reaction or something to do with the iso

  3. i hav never heard of that before. did you do anything else different?

  4. It's still evaporating. Been using the same plate, same everything. But this batch has been sitting in the sunlight... but I don't think that should matter much.

  5. My friend, it sounds like you have made some very potent QWISO. In my experience, with great bud, my first QWISO wash is often more gold than green. It means that it is more pure THC, with less "green" plant material. Congrats!
