Quitting my tolerance break

Discussion in 'General' started by Waytoomany223, May 27, 2016.

  1. I haven't smoked in 6 or 7 months
I want to start smoking again after I find a job
I'm in the process of moving right now
So I'd prolly be sober around 8 months by the time im ready
I used to smoke like 5-8 times a day for around 3 years
Turned into a massive habit and I needed to get myself situated
Couldn't do anything without smoking first
Also, I used to not be able to catch a meaningful buzz
me and my tolerance had a love/hate relationship

I have some anxiety about starting to smoke again
I havent smoked in a long time
Thinking about using a 1 hitter to get back into the swing of things
I'm probably gunna take a puff and see how I feel
I'm afraid if I smoke I'll be fried and won't be able to handle it
i forget how it feels it's been so long maybe I don't like it anymore

Sort of depressing I finally have my life sorted out
I used to enjoy weed I'd like it to be apart of my life again
Sheeba never made me bug out and see dragons
Maybe I'm over thinking my situation

Does anyone have exp with long tolerance breaks
Is there a mellow strain you'd recommend
    Should I go with indica/sativa
Thanks for any input and advice

  2. Just ease yourself back into it don't smoke a lot starting off. Just take a hit and see how you feel after 20 minutes then take another if you feel like it. Once your tolerance goes up a bit you will be comfortable with smoking more at a time. Go into it with a good vibe and relax and realize weed is a wellness drug and you are going to have a good chill time.

  4. Yeah dude. I'd say once your job is situated and all that, if it was a positive for you in your life, do it. Get back into it, because if it brought good to you, it can make you bring better to your new situation. You dig?

  5. 7 months is a good record, Im on my 4 month myself .. I dont get why would you wanna screw that up? .. There are more benefits to quitting then there are to starting back up .. Whats wrong with keeping your mind clear? or giving your lungs that break it needs? & another thing if your having anxiety about starting back up then you don't need to be thinking about that in the first place .. these are just my two cents though ..

  6. Im kinda in the same boat but not really. I can smoke again in 18 months and i used to be a really heavy smoker for about 7 years.

    Check my thread virgin tolerance

Sheeba gives me a better quality of life though
Stress is a silent killer :(
    I don't drink either

Once I get a job I'm getting fried

  11. Had a year long break. When you come back the feelings different than before. When coming back the spins were like something thats never happend before. After awhile they rarely happen but every now and again after a giant glob the spins return again haha.

Go slow the feeling could be a little "off", to what you remembered.

  12. Yeah I imagine it's going to be a more intense feeling
When I was smoking constantly I would just have euphoria

I took a 2 month break before this long break
I smoked 2 joints with my homie and I was stoned
I didn't bug out or anything
Smoked the first joint didn't feel too different
Smoked the second one and I was lit

Usually I smoke and it effects me instantly
Like I take a hit and within seconds I feel it
    But this time was different
Maybe it just took 2 joints to feel stoned
It was 2 month old mids sitting around in a bag
