I've worked for the same Greenhouse/Lawn and Garden place for a year and a half its part of a 2 Store Chain. 3 men co-own the business and this is where the trouble begins. Having 3 bosses that all own somewhat equal shares leads to a lot of bickering back and forth and 2 of them have banded together at one store and essentially forced the other guy to work at the less desirable of the 2 stores. Now the rest employees are a mixture of college students(like myself) and high school juniors and seniors who work after school or on weekends when they have no class. I work every day of the week either on my class free days or in between my classes. Now the other college kid i work with comes and goes as he pleases for class, 45min late....whatever he got caught in traffic....at 2pm . So I ran a bit late this morning and ran into a Boss vs. Boss business confrontation and then all of a sudden they're both yelling at me for my lateness. I use examples of my record of being on time and then show how this other college kid shows up whenever he wants. They call me irresponsible, i said Fuck Yinz(my pittsburgheese comes out when im pissed) took off my work shirt, my store keys off my loop and quit right there. I feel wonderful right now, im riding this crazy power high right now and i dont even feel the need for a bowl....but i will. Especially since i just realized that my paycheck for my last 2 weeks of work comes tomorrow!!!! HELLO satisfaction Sorry if this was a long one
Well, a bit impulsive, yes. But, if that's what happens, then they have lost a good employee. Good luck finding another job though, man... it could be tough!
yeah what it reads like is impulsive but its something ive been dealing with for awhile during the course of my employment there. I've been looking for a new job for awhile now but a lot of the employment was taken up with summer high school help. thanks for the wishes though, im actually going up the road to the pizza place to inquire about the sign for pizza maker/drivers
Eh fuck em. Must not of been that important of a job anyways to just quit without another form of income.
Well then, power to you! My bosses were brothers-in-law, and they hated each other for the longest time; wouldn't utter a word to one another. Then like recently, they started talking again and seem to be fine, now. Like, that's immature... you both run the business, now cooperate or there's gonna be trouble, right?
