Quickest way to make edibles with the least amount of smell and clean up afterward?

  1. Hi guys,
    So I’ve smoked and eaten edibles for a really long time now. But long story short I want to cut back on my smoking and switch to edibles as much as possible because I’m a professional singer and I’m suddenly super paranoid about smoking it.

    So long story short I can’t let my housemates know I smoke or that I am making edibles so I figured I’ll try to cook it late at night. Could anyone suggest ways to cook that will have the least smell, and the least amount of cleaning up afterward? And also methods that would be fast.

    When I was a teenager I had no idea about this whole decarboxylation in an oven thing we’d just throw a bunch of crushed weed into some butter and let it cook for like 30 minutes and then make brownies but yeah, after that for a while (and this is a super inefficient method but super discreet) I was cooking it in a microwave, but now I don’t know why but my microwave isn’t doing the job.

    PS: I don’t need any fancy recipes I’m totally cool choking down something rather basic and gross tasting as long as I can get high without smoking.

  3. Decarbed weed in oven 240@40mins

    3.5 grams per 100grams of dark chocolate

    grind weed and minx into melted chocolate/stir well and pour into molds. ( you can get silicone emoji mods for under 10! For 2-3 )

    makes around 20 chocolates with about a 20thc mg

  4. The method above is good.

    I personally mix the decarbed weed into coconut oil. Heat and blend for a few hours to about 180. Strain. Then fill it into capsules.

    You can also buy chocolate almond bark, heat it in a microwave, mix in the coconut oil, pour into shapes and put it in the fridge.

    If you're in a legal state the best is the distillate syringes, I heat those and fill capsules with two drops each. I've cut back a ton on smoking since.

  5. Oof while these methods sound delicious and I’m definitely gonna try them when I can find a buddy who will let me cook in their house, at my place I need something really fast. I was thinking I’d just decarb the weed in an oven and then cook it into butter, rub that on some toast and choke it down.

  8. Decarb 240 F for 40 minutes uncovered.
    If using buds grind to dust next

    5 grams Kief or Hash or Powered Buds
    1 tablespoon Coconut oil
    1/2 teaspoon Lecithin
    Combine
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Freeze
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes
    Done.

    Butter and all other cooking oils take a full 2 hours to get cranking.
    Lecithin doubles the bang per milligram used. Makes your edibles twice as strong and last 3x as long.

    This is about 50mg worth of THC

    As it comes up often enough here is the single serving that can be done almost anywhere with almost anything.
    A fingernail of bud is around.... This is outside grown and not real hard. My pinky fingernail.

    Decarb 240 F for 40 minutes is the accepted time and temp.
    Next.
    Add just enough Butter or cooking oil to make mud / paste .
    Heat 220 F for 20 minutes.

    Cool / Chill
    Eat Half. Naked as is or on / in something.
    Wait 2 hours
    If not high enough eat the rest.

  10. Grind weed to finest consistency as possible. Decarb in sealed mason jar.
    No smell at all.
    Open jar add 190proof alcohol.
    Shake for 30seconds.
    Pour through coffee filter into another jar.
    Resoak weed in new alcohol. Let that batch sit for a week or so. Will not be as strong as 1st batch, but there will still be something there.
     
  11. if you have an instapot (or knock-off) …. in a mason jar(s) i can decarb quite a bit of flower with no odor and mine
    has the decarb done in 20 min.
    it is the only way i infuse oil as well for caps full of goodness.
    alcohol extractions are different and less FAST.
