Quick Thought

  1. About a year back I baked out a kids play house with two other friends and a certain question arose in my mind. How can there ever be the smallest piece of matter? Isn't everything made out of something? You break down the human body into individual cells, then you break down those cells into atoms, those atoms down to protons... electrons... etc, then break those down into quarks and into strings. Doesn't something have to make up these strings in string theory? Can't whatever makes these strings probably be broken up to? Into infinity... How can something not be broken down into something? Everything is made up of something... doesn't this go on into infinity?

  2. I don't know, but when it comes down to REALLY small things, a lot of weird things happen...

totally, I love how looking at something gives it a specific form and location, where before you look at it, it's everywhere all at once. quantum physics is interesting stuff! When you can understand it, that is lol.

Ya, Infinity goes both ways... big and small. So, whatever is experienced in the Infinite must be... perfect.

  6. Matter doesn't really exist at all. It's just clumps of energy that we perceive as matter. And even the matter that we perceive is about 99.999999% empty space.

  7. Emptiness is form. Form is emptiness. Separation is an illusion.

  8. Well, the nature of matter is irrelevant to the question. Despite your metaphysical beliefs, something in "fake" reality is able to be broken down, can this "fake" matter ever reach a singular point that can no longer be broken down?

  9. See?

A lot of weird shit going on...
