quick question

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by shmoke, Mar 17, 2009.

  1. in the past i posted a thread on my bad exp with marijuana, i read everywhere that your heartrate only increases 10-15bpm, i dont get why when iw ent into the hospital my heart rate was like in the 150s 170s? any 1 want to explain this?

  2. Maybe you shouldn't smoke weed anymore? I think my heart rate actually slows down!

In your case, 10-15bpm doesn't apply to you. I've never even heard that BS before. I don't know the answer you're looking for, common sense bro. It just happened that way.

  3. did u have a panick attack?

  4. yea, I think he wrote something in his other thread about having anxiety attacks.

  5. Pop some xanax, then face a blunt.

  6. haha thats the way to go man

  7. ahhh, paranoia taking hold, huh?
    I can see that.

Seriously, take some benadryl, fuck xanax.

  8. if you have an anxiety disorder just shy away from weed or slowly build up your tolerance. Start with a vape or something and work your way up. Not everyone can have the iron lung.

  9. if i slowly build it up am i still prone to panic attacks or no because im controlling the high?

  10. I have some anxiety issues, but nothing levels me out better than a good burn session. YMMV of course, but it works great in my situation.

  11. Smoking weed and heart rate depends on the person who's smoking.
    Some people react differently.
Smoking weed can double one person's heart rate and slow another's.
However, if you are new to smoking, your heart rate will more than likely increase, and could quite possibly double due to the anxiety and paranoia of being high.
Just learn how to control your high, avoid places where you'll become anxious, and everything will be fine.
    Cheers.
