  1. OK i have 2 plants in soil (organic processed from mushroom composit) they are 1 week old and they have 2 nodes and are starting the 3 (about 2 1/2" tall) in my closet (3'x3') and a 400w MH on them 24/7, 18" from tops. i have a desk fan blowing right on them and i leave the door open at all times the temps are 73-80 depending on what my G/F put the thermostat at for my house. The leaves are turnning yellow and are sagging a bit. i think its the fan drying them out but not quit sure. what do you think. sorry no pics im working in that prob.

  2. will someone, any one give their opinion.please

  3. Sounds more like a nutrient problem than a heat problem...

  4. If they are drooping over, maybe the lamp is too close to the plants?

  5. thank you so much for the input! so i just watered the fuck out of them. i dont quit think that its the light. i put my hand over the plant and it not warm at all i might even be able to lower it a little, but i was wondering if a fan can dry out a plant if its right on it 24/7. trying to make them strong.

  6. Are you using nutes? Sounds alot like nutrient burn to me. For the first few weeks you should not fertilize. Also make sure that the temp isnt getting to high, metal halides give off a fair amount of heat. And dont water the fuck out of them, wait until the soil is dry to the touch, and add a FAIR amount, according to the size of the pot.

  7. If they are yellowing you do need to start using nutes, start 1/4 strength, no more than once a week. look closely for burn, if you see any flush. build up to full strength over a few weeks.

the drooping leaves are from over watering. put your finger in the soil an inch and half to two inches. if you feel moisture don't water. this will cause your roots to grow in search of moisture. a better way to tell when they need water is to get a feel for the weight of the pots, they will be a lot lighter when they need water. as they get bigger they will get thirstier and thirstier. when you water them give them a good dose, you want about 10 % drain off. peace bro and gl

  8. Thank you so much!!!!!Well lastnight i waterd them a lot and saw that the water was chillen on top of the soil and not draining. My babys are in little 2"x2"x2 cube pots, really small. so i transplanted them into bigger pots with 1/2 soil 1/2 lava rock and waterd it, drained badass. i woke up this morning and the drooping is gone but now the edges of my leaves are a little crispy. Now i know its nutes.so when i flush should i use tap water or distiled water. This site is amazing. You guys are really smart and i read GC a fuck load. I have learned allot from all of the forums. Thank you so much.:p :hello:  :smoking:
