    Hello,

    I need help. I have uploaded pictures of my flowers (both: good ones and ones that i'm worried about). I am not sure if the white stuff is good or bad.

    Quick Question: Are these Trichomes or Powdery Mildew?

    Trichomes. You're good man.

    If it usually start from the bud/stem to sugar leaf or to fan leaves spreading out toward the tip, it is trichomes.

    If it is blotchy and has no pattern and is on fan leaves without the stem than it PM

    The easiest way to tell is powdery mildew is matte, it doesn't glisten like trichomes do. It looks like flour or baby powder, not like sugar crystals.

    They seem to be blotchy on the sugar leaves. Is it possible to be PM on top of trichomes?

    Like psymse above wrote. Pm is like fine powder and not crystal like trich. Possible to have pm on your trichomes because it will grow anywhere. Best bet is to use a magnifying loop and see if there little spot on the long trichomes like hair.
