Quick Question on Pruning/Trimming.

  1. Okay, so I have a five and a half inch tall WW growing right now, still in veg, I'm about to put her into flowering. I really want to prune/trim her up so that I can get more bud. She's got A LOT of secondary growth for being so short, and she's got a LOT of thickness in her stem. She also has eight sets of leaves, so you can imagine how bushy and how completely huge (in diameter) she is. Her branches don't even stretch out THAT much, except for her first couple of sets of leaves. She is absolutely gorgeous for my first grow, but in the purpose of getting the most out of her lovely nature, I think pruning/trimming her up would be a good idea.

Thoughts? I hear that it's a horrible thing and fucks the yield up, but I also hear that it's great and increases yield.

Thanks for the answers in advance. :]
