Quick Question. I intend to possibly grow one or two plants in my basement. Would this warrant the use of a heat blocking cover/drape (so no FLIR or whatnot can see). Not really sure on that. Also. I plan on using a couple (Maybe 3 or 4) CFLs and maybe an auto flowering strain. This is my planned setup 1. Closet in the basement 2. 3 - 4 CFLs (I only need daylight if its autoflower right?) 3. 1 - 2 plants I guess this turned into A not so quick question. But also what kinda smell will come from the buds and how should i cloak them.
you will not need to block the heat signature from CFLs, infact i wouldnt worry about any heat signature from HIDs for a couple of plants in a basement. just use mylar or white matt paint for reflecting the lunmen to your plants from your lamp. some strains do stink, but for odor, your best with a carbon filter, and duct it outside, making sure you have an intake aswell.
