I recently started feeding calmag to my girl who is almsot 6 weeks into flower. I was wondering if i need to add calmag to all my future waterings or if its just something i need to do every once in a while. I feel like one feeding wont fix the deficency let me know thanks
any advice? i hate having to always bump a question haha and yes i have been googling this, for some reason all the threads always get way off topic and dont ever say if you need to continually use the calmag for the record i do use distilled water
A good fert should have enough cal and mag in it.. what are you using for fertilizer? Usuallly you get a deficiency when it gets locked out and not because it's not available in the soil.
im using fox farms big bloom and tiger bloom and i always check my ph prior to watering, and even tend to water with a little high ph due to the fact that my fox farms has a lower ph than normal. Theres no reason for my ph to dip that much if im consistently watering with phed water...unless some how the way ph reacts when growing is different then normal
also i am pretty sure magnesium deficiency is common when you use distilled water, at least thats what ive read. Either way when i first noticed the problem i gave her a heavy watering with ph balanced water which should have corrected the problem however it only continued to get worse. The plant is alone until tomorrow and i watered on the 15th with the cal mag. I assume when i go home the problem will be gone if its not then im going to reflush with ph balanced water. I was just curious if you DO have a deficiency how often should you use cal mag i dont wanna over do it
eh i came up on some extra cash so i just got the supplement. It will last me a long time and was only like 10$
