Quick question about seeds

  1. I know everyone always says brown seeds with specks/stripes are the best. But what about those white seeds that are really big and it doesn't look like their coating got taken away its just their white. Or is this non normal? Ive gotten ahold of them a few times and didn't know if it was a good sign or not. Any idea?

  2. Usually, white seeds are duds.
You want the nice brown ones with specks that you mentioned.

  3. The little white seeds are immature. There are some full-sized greyish seeds they may look close to white but can be viable.

  4. I have a pack of 60 Day Wonders still and every seed in there looks whitish and are smaller than I would have liked
But they did germinate and are as ready as can be expected given that they are autos and 60ish days from seed is fast

I say if the seed looks like it has something inside or its more white than green you may have a chance
Only way to know is to try

As far as the brown seeds with the black blah blah
Not all seeds look like that
So you really can't go off of that observation alone but is a good starting point
