So I have my plant on the 18/6 cycle but last night I forgot to turn on the lights (I know I need an automtic light switch) so I pretty much had that day's cycle as 14/10 by accident. I heard that if a lighting cycle is changed/altered like that it can chnage the plant to a hermie. Is this true and could my plant potentially turn into a hermie? I now have the plants back to an 18/6 cycle.
Yes It could potentially turn you plants into hermies, but, I doubt that will be severe enough to cause them to be hermies. and come on. light timers are only $10! happy growing bro
Erratic lights cycles are generally more acceptable in veg state, keep more than 15 hours a day and it should be fine, I think your plants will be fine.
