Quick question about harvesting..

  1. Brothers recommend 63 to 69 days for the ones on the left.. gonna have to go by my eye on the purple one which seems probably like another week out it’s still popping white pistils. — does anybody else harvest the big nugs first then let the lower ones get a little bit frostier? Day 56 (week 8) [IMG]

  2. Starting to foxtail. Some people harvest in stages. Some do not. It's your grow, do it however you feel is best.

  3. I think I’m definitely gonna do it in stages because some or foxtailing n some aren’t. We’ll see. Might start on a day or 2

  4. Foxtailing is usually caused by stress (some strains are more prone), usually too much light is the culprit (in my experience).....good way to tell is if the buds closet to the light are the only ones showing signs of foxtailing.

  5. I would like to be able to chop the stem at the base and just hang the plant in one piece. Or at least in pieces we’ll see either way it’s coming down sometime soon.. got seven more headband X c99 going into organic super soil

  6. That would be ideal. I often have to cut the center 1-3 nodes out as a separate piece to improve airflow whilst drying.

  7. the 6 i popped already broke soil so it looks like we will have a grow off same exact genetics but under different lighting HPS vs LED sort of thing i cant wait

  9. if it were me i would harvest everything at once the small stuff can be used to make brownies or blunts this way everything is on the same schedule and you can clean out the tent and get rolling on the new grow Do you plan on cleaning your light diodes? is that even a thing?

  10. I wish I had your problem. Just when you think they are done, new pistols show up. I think I'd rather have 1 go too old rather than the others being too young. I "think" those buds will plump up a bit more, leaves get yellower, & stems lean over more. Would it suck harvesting now, hell no. nice work. Harvest individually when each is completely finished would be "ideal", life aint always ideal.
