All the PH up and PH down adjusters are listed under hydro at every site where I've looked. Even the brand names seem to reflect use with hydro only. Like General Hydroponics. So am I even supposed to use a ph down and up product for my soil grow and if so which ones? Thanks for some quick replies. I'm waiting to order.
For minor alterations I like to go with Iron Sulfate, from Hi-Yeild. Works good as a slight acidifier, also provides an array of micronutrients. Going up? ad some wood ash. With big shifts down, I use HCL dilluted, but you have to let it "marry" to the soil for about a month before it's safe for plants.
