quick perlite question

  1. So I saw some MG perlite at Walmart today. I saw that it had some small amounts of N and phosphate and somethin else. I was wondering if its still ok to use for seedlings or not.

Also, do soils that are seedling soil/potting soil and whatnot have nutrients in them even if nothings listed? what makes them different than normal soil?

    thanks

  2. what percentage of N and Phosphate was it? it might still be okay, if they are just trace amounts.

organic soil should contain no time released fertilizers as far as I know.

  3. I think its like .04 N, .01 of other stuff.

Perlite is heat expanded volcanic rock it is lil whiteballs from 3/8" to dust....any N-P-K in it is not available to a MJ plant ;)
I clone into it all the time
