quick electrical question (HID lights)

    hey gc i currently have a 400w hps/mh set up. and i was wondering if i could just buy a 600w ballast and bulb and hook it up to my light fitting and reflector on the 400. this may be obvious to some but im shit at electrics cheers

    yeah keep the right bulb with the proper ballast.

    If you replace the ballast and bulb your fine. Just make sure the 600w bulb will fit in the hood & it will produce more heat
