This is probably a stupid question but I just want to make sure I recently bought a gear build a bong, but the bottom broke. My friend picked it up without knowing it was a build a bong and the clip wasn't on, anyway I saw this really sick hoss bottom piece at one of the local headshops which is pretty cheap I am just wondering if my gear top piece will be air-tight/fit in a hoss bottom piece.
Yup, gear Tranformer bongs and hoss build a bongs fit together good, also a tip( push and turn when putting your top and bottom pieces together, I don't trust the clips, the glass on glass fits very secure, the clips are for just incase. And when taking off, spin as u pull it up, be careful and have the base between ur legs and pull the top off. I my self have multiple gear and hoss pieces on my bong, when buying hoss pieces, make sure they have lots of airflow... No very small tubes etc. stay away from there cheap Percs, and always exam the piece very well before u buy it.
Sounds like he has experience in build-a-bongs. ^^^ But I would just make sure the ground joint is the same size as the one from the tube. Just like a slide/downstem.
Also you could just ask the employee at the smoke shop if u can see if the piece fits your own if u can find a similar base/top. If u understand that haha. Basically find your piece(or similar size) and ask to see if they fit together. Most smoke shop employees will have no problem. That's the safest thing to do. I can't garuentee all hoss and gear pieces will fit. But in my case they have all fit perfectly
