I was just getting ripped and started thinking as I often do and I was wondering is there any limitations of cross breeding within all the cannabis strains? For example I was wondering if I could cross Cali Connection Seeds: Deadhead OG And Delta 9 Labs: Super Star And then calling it Death Star haha. Would this be possible?

all species of cannabis can interbreed, but there's a lot more to making a breed than merely crossing two previously stable breeds. its takes many many generations of carefully selecting particularly desirable traits to lock them down. as the plants become stable you can give it a name naming crosses is very bad breeding practic and is massively rife with small scale breeders. buying a new breed these days is pot luck. so many dam phenotypes in just a 10 pack of seeds
