I was recently given an ounce of pretty decent nuggs but they're pretty dense. I'm planning on using them for a run and wa scurious as to what is the best way to prepare them for a blast. I'm used to using a strain specifically for the type of oil the person wanted .. any feed back would be appreciated. best way to contact is email if thats allowed thccbd520@GMAIL.COM. im also using a 3cfm single state with a one gallon vac chamber. I'm probably gonna have to do a couple different purges bc of it would start kissing the roof of the chamber. Again any help is better then no help thanks.

i never said i didnt know what i was doing im only familiar with sugar leaves and shake. the question was what is the best way to prepare who cannabis nugsit bc either way its going in my blasting tube. I didnt know if using a grinder, or bvreaking it by hand was best for whole nuggets.
I don't make bho, only made it once because I have a dealer, but i would assume the best thing to do would be to grind the buds up then freeze the shake and use that. The freezing temps will make kief fall off so that may maximize yield but idk
Making kief fall off? you dont want that lol Just make sure its bone dry, I usually just break it up lightly by hand if I'm doing a straight run and not dewaxing, I only like to grind if I dewax.
I have been studying everyone for a couple months and aside from Jimmy's method (which several others also describe, basic hand breakup), the only other one I have come across is something like this, "cut all the nugs down to 1/4"-3/8" however this was also a specific instruction for thermos packing fresh nugs.
OP - go to youtube and search for things like making nug run bho, nug run bho instructions, making bho with nugs..etc.....there are tons of vids out there available also vids are good for clarification of what is actually being done

man i do two runs a week and i barely get a yeild of 2 gs 20gram run under vector 14 x i need help bad yall and almost all runs turn auto butter quik i have no souce for dabs only flowers so this is my only option my buds are amazing quality no issues thought maybe it was too loose in the tube idk i need a teacher but im in florida lol fuack lol
Pack as tight as you can, no more than i can per zip, let off the pressure once the tanes about 3/4 way down the tube and let it soak for like 30-60sec and finish it off. How dry are they? describe more of your process, your water bath could be pulling moisture into your product from the steam. try having a sealed water bath like a pot or something your dish will sit in so the steam isnt floating around your dish
Everyone thinks that there bud is 20%+ thc but just remember it is probably 15%thc or lower and you don't get everything on the first blast. So you are not to far off what the numbers should be. Trim Nazi
For myself ive been making bho for about 2 years. Ive done many different processes. Nothing fancy. Anyways if you have real good awesome nugs , dont break them up at all. Do one run full nug. Youll get an awesome good first run batch. After that you break the bud up to popcorrn nugs then break those up by hand then use that for your second run. Youll get a normal yeild.aslong as you purge it correctly youll have some good batches of wax..
