Hey GC, just a couple of questions regarding the Waterfarm made by general hydroponics. 1) This question is in regards to the pump it comes with, I cant seem to find info on the gph(gallons per hour). I need to know what it is so I can set the timer the pump is attached to. Does anyone know? 2) What is the best way to empty and refill the reservoir without disturbing the plant?
1. I didn't know you needed GPH to figure that out. Just run it for 15 minutes every hour or two. I'm sure if you google it you can find other people's cycle times. 2. I see you put a lot of thought into this one.... Remove the lid, place it on another bucket, replace reservoir water.
you can use a shop vac to get the water out..I have one strickly for my buckets. the 15 minutes should include drain time. You dont want the flood to be any longer then 15 minutes total, every 4-5 hours is plenty... Hope that helps...
