Questions about Toronto, CA.

Discussion in 'Beginner Cannabis Consumption & Tips' started by tobymac420, Dec 14, 2010.

  1. So me and my wife are looking for places to live. We want to live somewhere weed friendly and with a medical marijuana card as I have chronic back issues from a work injury. We were looking at Toronto, Canada as a option for a few reasons and correct me if you live there or go there very often: 1. It's clean and lots to do, 2. They have a strong job enconomy right now, 3. People are very friendly, 4. Universal healthcare, 5. Very family friendly and lots of shopping. As of right now we don't have children we are both 24 but we do want to have children and reading as of now makes Toronto look like a home run. What i wanna know is if anyone live in Tornonto on this form give me your personal opnions and personal encounters. I also read in vancover there is coffee shops and all that seems crazy to me.

    Thanks,
    Toby Mac:smoke::smoke::smoke::smoke::smoke:

  2. Also i was wondering about the education in Canda. Both me and my wife want to go to college and was wondering if there is any community colleges or universtys out there. I ask because we are also considering Colorado were there financial aid the state will pay for half of your schooling.

  3. Toronto is fairly clean, although there are parts that aren't so clean as there is with any major city. There is a fair bit to do within the city and also around the area (its only an hour and a halfish from Niagara Falls!). The economy isn't as bad as places in the USA but its not amazing at the moment although it is picking up. The people can be pretty friendly. I would suggest moving into one of the burbs as its cheaper/cleaner/ more friendly and commuting into the city for your needs. There is lots of shopping and its family friendly. There are tonnes of schools around the area that should not be a huge issue.

  4. You might want to check out the univeristy of toronto, I've heard good things about it, but it's expensive.

  5. dont go to uft, way to expensive, if i was you id probably go to b.c, that have some good schools there and are leniant with mj laws

  6. Toronto is a great city but there are setbacks... Housing market is through the roof very hard for a young couple like you to afford something. I'm not sure about the nice people because I've met my fair share of assholes. I wouldn't suggest living in the heart of Toronto if you want a family I would suggest living a little more north in the GTA(greater toronto area).Other than that its a nice city with alot of things to do!

  7. He'll have trouble being able to afford anything more than a shithole. BC is for the rich.

  8. Toronto is the most expensive city in Canada.

  9. lol

    Man you make Canada sound like some crazy ass foreign land, like do we even have universities up here? Vancouver is definitely the most weed friendly place in Canada, with the best weed, so it's two for one.

  10. or you can come to mississauga :D

  11. Yah bro square one, playdium, it has errthang

  12. Fair enough, but BC isn't cheap at all either. I live in Winnipeg, my parents house is worth around $500000, it'd be more than double that in Vansterdam.

  18. Well we talked about it we are very high on Canada now, BUT! How easy is it to get a medical card? Or at the very least score something around Tornonto? Like I said we dont know anybody there so this is pretty much a whole new start.
