Questions about medical marijuana in california

    Hey, new to California and would like to get a medical marijuana card and have some questions:
    1) Where should I go in Los Angeles to get a medical marijuana card?
    2) What's the price for a card? For how long it valid and how much is renewing it cost and what is the process of getting it renewed (seeing a doctor again?)
    3) How much I can buy at once?
    4) Can I buy marijuana from any medical marijuana place in California?
    5) Can I grow my own?
    6) Is it legal to smoke a joint outside if I have my medical marijuana card on me? Or I can be stopped by a police officer?
    7) What's the price for OG Kush in those clinics?

    That's it for now, would appreciate any suggestions. I heard that there are clinics that give out those cards like candies for any medical problem I'll mention.

    dont mean to profile, but after reading your last two questions, i just highly doubt you have a severe illness that you need it for.

    I do not have a severe illness but I would rather buy weed legally and help the local economy than to buy it from someone who bought it from someone who trafficked it from the border. If I grow it or buy it from a legal place I'll hurt no body. Marijuana does help me, it's helping me to relax and to look at things more positively.

    And if you are not here to profile then don't profile, there are many people here that use medical marijuana only because they like the high and not because they have a severe illness.

    in california i believe anywhere you can smoke a cig u can smoke a joint, with exceptions like 1000ft from a school, on a school bus, or while operating a boat or car.

    wrong dude, you cant spark up in an outdoor smoking patio of a restaurant, for example..it's not a license to smoke weed whenever and wherever you want..

    NOT only that if you have no qualifying condition, you don't deserve to get a MMJ recommendation, and gaming the system just so you can be legal cannot be discussed on GC
