Hey everyone. Just moved to Arizona about a month ago. I am waiting the amount of time for residency to be eligible for Medical Marijuana. I have Crohns Disease. I am aware that the state is running into issues with legalizing the dispensary's, so i am curious what the benefit to having the license is? I understand it makes it legal to possess but does that mean just the bud your private dealer can sell you? Can you use the card in California? Again, i am a little unclear what the benefits are as of now until the dispensary's get the go ahead. Thanks guys!
I can tell you one thing, you won't be able to use a MMJ recommendation from any other state within Cali. Unfortunately it doesn't have a MMJ reciprocate program as a few states do.
There are dispensaries open now. They will continue to pop up over sept/oct as well, and if you live 25+ miles away from a dispensary you can grow your own. Or you can find a registered caregiver. Arizona has potential felony laws for low amounts of herb, the state-wide law safety of it is good enough really.
How do they verify your residency? I already have an Arizona drivers license and i have an Arizona address. I have documentation of my Crohns disease as well. I have only lived in the state for 2 months though.
