Questions about making hash

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by Bangelo91, Mar 31, 2009.

  1. Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone can help me out, Ive been looking for bud for awhile now without much luck but I do have the left over stems from like three ozs and was wondering if anyone could tell me if I could make hash out of them or do anyhting else with them that would get me high.

    Thanks

  2. I have seen an interesting way of shaking them up to get some kief/plant dust:)laughing:). If you wanted, you could run some alcohol over them to try to make some hash.

  3. Stems don't have an appreciable amount of thc content to make Hash. TO make hash you need at least an oz (28 grams) of leaf. Or there abouts. I guess you could use less and make kief-hash, but that's not the same.

In any case, if you have a good amount of stems you CAN use an alcohol method to extract what's left, though you won't get a whole lot. After all is said and done if you use a pint of clear Vodka, soak the stems, and then evaporate it out for about a week you end up with a couple ounces of thc infused Vodka. Which will work nicely, but is hardly worth the effort to be honest.
