  1. I'm only growing one plant indoors and currently have 2 65w daylight cfls on her currently.

Was wondering if I needed to get more lights she's currently 4 weeks old

  4. If u r going to grow with CFL it is more efficient to get a bunch of small bulbs and then you can position them around instead of just two bulbs you do like six all around it

  6. I spent my first year growing with CFL I did so many dumb things in that year adding light won't shock them with CFL anyhow I doubt they are so week it isn't like going from s CFL to a 1000 watt hps

When I used CFL I used 10 x 23 watt bulbs made homemade reflectors and wasted so much money on crap grow cabinets but I got some decent smoke on the cheap so it was worth it then I bit the bullet and started ordering my kit that I use now and I'm not sure it's a good thing because now I just stay high from sun up to sun down my work and home life are so much happier and I owe it all to Mary Jane

  8. One plant it takes a lot more CFL compared to hps to get some decent yields there a lot of homemade reflectors diy online if you search but you'll end up spending the same amount of money as you really would buying an hps kit

  9. This was my experience. The cost of a CFL setup including light sockets, splitters, reflectors, bulbs and wires is about the same as a low end LED off amazon. And, maybe I'm just a poor electrician but, my CFLs generate a lot more heat than my LED. It's not the CFL bulb itself, but the bulb base and socket.
