Questionable herb

    Hopefully this is the proper forum to drop this in, but I have a question for you vets out there. I found a sliver of glass and some of what appears to be aluminum foil (very small bits, but not many) in this pick up. This was really cheap, $30, it smells great, a little darker than what I'm used to, full of sticks and seeds, but after finding the piece of glass, should I still enjoy it or toss it? I've sifted it a few times since and haven't found anything and nothing funny turned up after putting it through a grinder either. Please help!ninheard that some people grind glass into herb to weigh it down but this was already really cheap and I think I'm just being paranoid... If it were riddled with glass could the glass actually filter into my lungs? Thanks guys

    Uhhh don't buy from that guy again. I would examine the bud and make sure its not coated in glass. I've heard of that before. Sounds pretty shady.

    Fucking bitches. Grind your herbs up real good with scissors, "so the shit doesnt fall into the keif collector." and pull them across the table with a card or something and completely spread it out and look at it in the light. If you see alot of sparkles its fucked, and there is not going to be so much THC on a bud that it shines like glass would.

    if you have a vape it should be safe to do just cos most vapes don't give you an option of sucking in whatevers in there, especially like a volcano...

    if not, look through every little bitty bit of it to see if stuff is in there, and even then, unless you wanna risk your life, don't smoke it.


    and then go kick that guys ass, or at least ask for a refund. But first maybe see if he'll smoke some of it with you... see if he's against it.

    Thats called grit weed. Some people lace weed with glass or other things to add weight too it. Obviously do not smoke it if you find anything in it.

    glass, foil, sticks, and seeds? $30 is a rip off dude.

    Perhaps the "glass" you're seeing are the trichomes? the THC laden crystals? You can get a powerful little $5-10 microscope from Radio Shack to see what's up with your bud.

    I might just get one of those, it was glass however, it cut my finger. It was a pretty large piece, just short of Kay nickle or dime size. I got a quarter for 30, what's driving me crazy is that the bid smells great, and now that I removed that sliver of glass and the other little junk (foil, seeds, sticks) it does t look bad. Just creeped me out finding that one piece of glass :(

    It could be the result of some insane occurence, it may have not been put in the bag on purpose, it could've just somehow gotten in there and gone unnoticed.

    It's very unlikely, but it is possible, my keys once ended up in my duffle bag because of a deus ex machina of physics and timing.
