i've been checking out this whole pataphysics thing and have been wondering whether zero is a number or just an idea. anyone know?
I've always wondered where the origins of 0 came from to. It's a nonexistent, so how can it be a number? What if they made up another number instead of 0, how would things be now in the science/math fields? Or would there even be science or math without it? Shrug.
How is it less of a number than 1, 2 ect? I have 1 apple, I have 2 apples, I have 0 apples. It makes sense to me, maybe I need knowledge of plataphysics to understand the question? Regardless 0 is at least 3 times as much a number as -1 and 50 times more a number than -1^1/2.
