question regarding purple strains

Discussion in 'Apprentice Marijuana Consumption' started by underoath31791, Mar 11, 2009.

  1. if a strain is purple, is the high you get from it different? ive been trying to get a hold of a purple strain but am having no luck. and im really curious.

  2. The high shouldn't be different. It will probably be an Indica stone because most of the purple comes from the Indian subcontinent and Afghanistan. They smoke pretty much the same as everything else and are not necessarily an indicator of quality; more for novelty purposes. I mean, purple is pretty to look at every once in a while.

That said, nearly all strains have different highs because of their cannabinoid ratios but the most pronounced differences are between Indicas and Sativas.
