Question regarding my Lumii 200W cfl grow lamp

    Hello, so I bought a 200w cfl grow lamp and the lamp lights only on one side, so I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one and this grow lamp does exact the same.

    Picture:



    Is the lamp suppose to be like that? I'm having a hard time believe that the new lamp they sent is also half broken :s
    Or could it be any other issue like the sockel? or something else?

    Anyone? Becuase I don't really feel to reship this new lamp AGAIN and get a replacement and then maybe having the same issue.

    Did you try it in another socket? That's what I would do. Then contact seller if it's the same. Maybe you should look into an alternative lighting solution.

    No unfortunately i do not have any other socket that fits, but i will do that as fast i get one.
    Yes because i really do not want to send this back cuz currently i still have 2 of the same ( the seller did not ask me to send back the other lamp that only light at one side so i have 2. in worst scenario i will just use both of the lamp.

    Ok. So you are already using those lamps. Take out one that is working and put this one in and see how it is.

    No i'm only using one because i only have one socket that fits the lamp (a socket from lumii).
    But if i have to get a new socket to test if it's the socket that's the problem and still have same issue then i probably will just go for 2 half broken lamps.

    I have a feeling that if i contact the seller then most likely they want me to resend both of the lamps and then send me a new one. (that might have the same issue)

    I also tried to email lumii about this but i do not receive any answer from them...
