Question regarding auto-flowers

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by chief_broom, May 3, 2022.

  1. I’ve got some auto-flower seeds that just germinated. They are in small starter containers, but at some point I have a spot in the ground prepared for them to do their thing. My question is when should they go in the ground? Where I’m at overnight temps are fine for outdoor plants, so if I wanted to they could go in the ground now.

  2. Sure but seedlings are stronger than seeds ..lol about 2 weeks time or about 4-6 inches tall is good

look out after 3-5 days for any yellowing

    good luck

  3. Frost isn't the only concern this time of year. Check your root zone temperature, if it's too cold your autos will survive but stall and you don't want your autos to stall. Soil temps of about 70-75F is ideal even though they will grow when it's colder than that, they'll just grow slower. If it's below 50F then care for them inside until the ground warms more.
