  1. Ok so I think some of you have been following my blue rhino ak 47 grow... well i had yellow dots on all my fan leaves on one of my plants today and it started on a couple others... here is what i question

If you do smaller feedings more rapidly versus one big feeding with run off could you possibly cause your plants to get root bound to the top layer of the soil where the water is at? And could this cause the rams horns and yellowing of the fan leaves? I have noticed that a lot of my plants have heavy roots right on the top layer of the soil...poking out to the point where i had to replace soil on top of them  COULD THIS BE THE CAUSE FOR THE YELLOWING OF THE FAN LEAVES?

I did a major feed all the way through tonight giving each plant close to two water bottles full when before i had been giving them roughly a half of one water bottle right to where the stem of the plant met the soil. HOPE THIS WORKS. FINGERS CROSSED. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

  2. Watering in small amounts can in fact cause the roots to turn upward looking for moisture. You should be making sure the soil is well soaked each watering with at least a little runoff. After that make sure it dries well before the next watering and water to runoff again.

  3. I THOUGHT SO!!! damn!! How long if that is the actual problem would it take to fix the negative effects of the leaves?

  4. This should be stickied... I did not know that this is something that people often take into account. I definitely didn't till I saw the roots at the top layer of the soil poking out
