Question on Ventilation

    So I'm going to be growing in a wardobe within a closet (dont ask lol) and there are no windows around. If i install an inline fan with a carbon scrubber on the exhaust is there going to be enough air circulation and can i effectively get rid of the smell? If i need to exhaust to the outdoors I'm kind of SOL. I want this to be real stealth, so a little smell is probably out of the question.

    Also, I'm kind of lacking in space, but more in the verticle direction (tall skinny grow area). What would be the best way to make use of this space? I wanted to do LST but since i dont have a wide area, that probably wont be ideal.

    Lastly, how much space does a 150W HPS or MH light cover? I wanna use the good lights (not fluros) but I wanna keep the bill down.

    Weed tends to get pretty smelly during flower. "a little smell" would prolly be coverd with a carbon filter but if it still stinks go pick up some air freshner goo from walmart.

    Scrog. usually the best bang for your buck space wise in stealth grows

    Plenty for a dresser but it's going to be toasty in there unless you take some measures.

    I'm pretty rusty so you might want to wait for one of the big names to pass through.

    Alright, thanks for the reply. I thought scrog was to utilize the same sort of space as an LST grow? Maybe I'm mistaken.

    How much better yeild would I produce using a 150W MH or HPS instead of fluros? If I were to choose one would I be better off with:
    1. fluros for veg and HPS for flowering
    2. MH for veg and fluros for flowering

    SCROG and LST both accomplish pretty much the same task, just different ways of going about it. They'll both keep your plants short and your yields high.

    In regards to the lights: You definitely want HPS for flowering - but you can get by with fluoros for veg. It makes NO SENSE to use MH for veg and fluoros for flower.

    Well I had heard that were were flurors with both spectrums so I was just wondering.

    But yea, that's what I thought...SCROG and LST are both used for low areas. But I have a tall, kinda skinny area. Whats the best growing technique here?

    And does anyone know what I should do about the smell without windows?
