I notice alot of spray heads are plastic and not metal. Is there an advantage to using one over the other? Also..when I check out websites for spray heads it seems they leave out one crucial spec and that is the micron droplet size..very frustrating , Thanks. PS: I'm still in the research stage of starting my own TAG system so excuse me if this is a silly question.
Hey bud, I run the red colored ones off ebay. Not sure on the micron droplet size but hey, im running 1100 GPH pumps per 6 rails / 20 gal res per unit. Plastic for Low pressure, metal for high pressure. I get great spray at the heads which are top fed by supply lines outside the rails. Not to knock anyone who is running TAG, HP, but given the results with LP, is it worth the additional cost? Im sure Petflora will set me straight lol...
