Sup guys? I haven't posted on the forums for a long long time. But lately I reconnected with a homie I haven't seen for 3 years! Anyhow he legally is allowed to smoke mary j in my state becuase he has chrons disease. It helps him out termondously. Anyhow he was growing it for a while (until a break in happened about a year ago or so he told me). (sucks I know). Anyhow he has a WEALTH of knowledge about growing. He grew his stuff for medicinal purposes, very high potency, all organic, everything so clean-pure-organic e.t.c. So him and I got talking a bit about trying an experiment of growing outdoors. We came up to the discussion of mary j seeds that can grow in low light/"harsher" conditions. Let me tell you about the enviroment I live in. I live in WA state-not much sun around here, unless its the late spring/summer. So we would obviously start/try to grow the plant in the late spring/early summer. It gets mildly warm here--not to hot though, and pleanty of humidity from the rain. lol Anyhow a couple questions: Is there such a seed out there/strain that is designed to grow in low light conditions? Or one thats very resilient/tough and can grow in soil that hasn't been treated? (natural soil--surrounded by trees e.t.c.)? Thanks!! pz
here are some links...hope it helps...gl. http://www.1stmarijuanagrowerspage.com/marijuana-seeds.html http://www.marijuanastrains.com/
ya its just going to be an experiment -just plant something and let it grow and do its thing. We would only germinate--and maybe prep the soil it grows in if we plant it in a pot. pz
hello, i did abit of a experiment myself this year to grow late in the season, i took 4 clones from my indoor bb cheese mother and put them outside around august/september 07 and harvested january the 7th 08. from around the end of october to january the weather was pretty bad... 35f/40f temps at night, not a great deal of sun ( overcast ) weeks of rain none stop and strong winds here and there. not really the best conditions to grow ganja! but it turned out pretty good and could have been alot better if the gardner didnt keep taking buds off it! anyway in the end i pulled just under 1-1/4 oz from each plant. i used foxfarms soil and nutrients btw. in the end after a good dry and cure the buds are fantastic very potent and stinky. the bad side was my bud was abit leafy and fluffy and turned purple.
On the website, when you click open those seed ordering pages, it has harvest time periods... but it doesn't tell you when you're supposed to plant in order to harvest at the given time... Any ideas? Also, which is better in terms of toughness... Purple Haze, First Girl, or Big Bud?
I heard Big Bud is the toughest. But First Girl or First Mature is also somewhat tough and takes shorter time to harvest, but the harvest amount is not that high (But still quite high compared to other strains)
