Hey guys. My first grow was quite successful and my second one is finishing up. But now I've gotten another light because... Let's be honest, it's quite fun in itself to just grow something so ... Alive Anyway, my issue is I'm going to use mylar roll for the square tent I've made. Figured it's easy, just let it roll down and bam you're good, but.. light goes through the mylar I got.. I figure it's the 1 mm. This country and whatnot... My question is if the light goes through mylar and I can see inside the tent when lights are on, does it still reflect back to the plants the 92% or so Percent of light as it's advertised? I mean it seems that it's letting a lot of light through but I'm not sure if I should figure out a way to cover the tent after hanging mylar walls or if the light escaping is negligible and the tent will do fine as is.
ensure you got the right stuff my Mylar is heavy non see thru plastic, shiny one side grey on the other, or paint the walls flat white for a 5% loss
