Ok so I have 6 plants (just started flowering) looking good with some lower growth dying off (staying green but curling inward drying to a darker green or brown) I think this is because I'm in a small grow space where the lower growth doesn't get enough light.... I'm and rambling ha, sorry ANYWAYS... I want to add dolomite lime to my already potted plants (1.5 months old, 3'+) because of a low runoff ph. I just flushed all the pots the other day but want to add dolomite to buffer the ph closer to 7.0. Guy at the hydro shop told me to sprinkle 1 tbl spoon per gallon of container(5tbsp dolomite to 5gal container), ontop of the soil and water it in... I did this to one of the girls that needed a drink tonight, should I do all the rest like this? Also, any success stories with dolomite lime? I've heard good things... It won't hurt the ladies right? Thanks Here's my grow http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-g...ntal-foss-clones-w-2-dank-seeds-new-post.html
Yes, that's the way to do it, although I use 2tbl/gallon of container. Best if you add it to your mix before use. Works way mo betta. No, it won't hurt the ladies and you will be very happy with the results. Wet
Bump!! I am doing the same thing outdoors right now, except I have a high ph.. The guy at way to grow told me that the bag says it raises ph as an advertisement because most grows run with a low ph... What the like does, he say, is it buffs it to 7 no matter the start point. I am also trying to break up some clay and increasing nitrogen uptake. Thanks for a great topic I'd like to continue the convo
