Hello guys. I had a friend who is growing some bud outside, in a damn near perfect location. It is right beside a river, and the sun is right. He has around 15 growing, 12 of them pretty good strains, other 3 just regular. On the regular weed, he pretty much just planted them and is hoping for the best. He waters them, but nothing more. I was just wondering, what would be the chances the weed is a success without much help? I know the dank shit will be good, just wanted to see what you guys thought. Thanks to all, and happy tokin GC
Usually nature has a pretty good idea how to take care of itself. But there are things that can help. Like 2 seperate liquid fertilisers for the grow and bloom phase. It can really make a difference. But if it's hard to get to, then watering should be fine to get some nice tree's.
What do you consider "success"? If nothing eats them, no storm flattens them, no insects get to them, no one finds and takes them...then that's considered success. The quality of the crop itself heavily depends on SO MANY FACTORS such as the above (insects causing damage) also and especially fertilizing etc. and a few other factors as well.
The best bud is grown outdoors. Most of the time good 'ol Mother Nature's daughter Mary Jane knows what to do to survive. I would check them on a semi regular basis however. Just to ensure no bugs or deer are munching on them. Peace & good luck, FG
Water regularly. Use water crystals if it's very dry there. If they get thirsty, they'll droop, the fan leaves can be lost (big problem for yield if this happens in flowering stage), and get attacked by all sorts of bugs (happened to me but with watering, everything went back to normal without any bug spray or anything).
