    i germianted my seed but the root is like half inch is it fine to plant or should i wait until it gets really long?

    That's perfect. Plant it now. Push a small hole in with your finger or a pencil, gently place your seed in root tip down, push a bit of the soil over the top so it has a little resistance when coming out so it will properly shed the shell, but don't pack it down ontop of the seed! Make sure it stays slightly, but not overly, moist until it sprouts.
