Question for topping expert!

  1. I topped most of my plants. On one plant, I apparently didn't get the whole top, because it's re-growing from where I cut. What will happen to this top?

  2. i think it will be easier to tell u an answer if u post some pics of what the problem is.
    is this possible.
    or...
how many nodes does it have, how old is it, ... ya....................

  3. It's a month from seed. I cut off the fifth node. The plant is only about 5 inches tall. These are the best photos I could take of the new growth.

  4. you should look for a macro mode (usually a flower) on your camera, it will make close up shots come out a lot more clear

  5. Your plant will be fine.
Even if you totally screw up a topping it should recover.

  6. If when you top you leave 20% or so instead of removing all of it, what may happen is instead of two shoots growing from the cut, you will get a lot of shoots growing.

It is called FIM (urban legend says it stands for "fuck, I missed").

I have done it and when it works, it is real interesting. :)
