Question for people who live by high uv

Discussion in 'Growing Marijuana Outdoors' started by araibira, May 8, 2009.

  1. Has anyone grown a particularly weak strain from one part of the world then grown it in a higher uv climate? If you create enough generations of that certain strain in high uv environment will the strain adapt and evolve into a more potent plant? thoughts?

  2. Haven´t the faintest idea. What do you think??

  3. I've been experimenting with a batch of seeds from a strain which had moderate amounts of tricomes...so i planted the seeds and tricome development seemed to increase dramatically...i live in a hawaii where the uv index is usually 10-12 year around...the humidity is usually 70-80% give or take 5-10%. I'm wondering if anyone has experimented this process. I understand that genes are everything, but with the right conditions, i assume it's possible to improve any strain...unless of course it's already growing in the most extreme of uv conditions.
