It is to my understanding that the Michigan law requires driver license suspensions for drug convictions, driving or not. And the minimum it will be suspended for is 6 months.... Does this apply in every case? Everyone that gets charged with a drug related crime and has a license gets it suspended for 6 months... ?
My friend had a possession charge and he still drives. Actually I know a lot of people in michigan who've had possession charges and still have their licences.
ANY drug related crime gets your license suspended for 6 months. But michigan has a law that if its your first drug possession you can get a "7411", which means if you complete your probation, your record gets sealed. You don't lose your license when on a 7411
