Question for making a salve

    I was working in the yard this weekend and I trimmed back my rosemary. I'm planning to make some salve with the trimmings from the sweet Mary Jane and was thinking the rosemary would be a nice addition.
    I have a quart of MJ trim and at least a quart of rosemary leaves with plenty more available.
    I'm thinking I could just mix the two herbs and extract the goodnes with isopropyl alcohol or dry the rosemary and mix it with the oil to extract the goodness. Has anybody made MJ salve with fresh rosemary? Any suggestions?
