hi peeps. when you 12/12 from germination what age are the plants when they start showing flowers? has anyone had problems doing this?
About 25-30 days. I've seen em as early as 14 days showing pre flowers. I guess it depends on the strain.
Took 2 weeks for this girl to show from sprout at 12/12... excellent quality, 14 weeks flower... pulled a top every week since 10 for comp purposes, so shes 4 tops shy.. topper her 3 times, once at 3 weeks old, again at 5... probly why its takin so long.. Me and my girl =)

Just to me a favor and take the time to dry those fat ass buds right. You will have to put a lot of time and effort into it but those are REALLY fat. All though waiting out 14 weeks to flower, pretty sure you won't fuck that up ;D
Thank you sir... what might your reccomendation be for that? I know the dry and snap the stem and then its ready for the jar, i believe, and what, open once or twice a day, 10 or 15 minutes a pop... that seems to be the concencus i believe, but want it to be some bomb ass smokin bagseed... i like that.. I would just wait to they are REALLY dry like feel like they are about to crumble on the outside, because those sexy buds are going to still be wet to the core. You want to create like a burping schedule too, I don't know what I would do with buds like that, I also usually gauge mine off of how they feel when I put them in there, it REALLY isn't that important as long as you follow the pattern. So Burp like Once a day for 10-15 minutes for a whole week, then same thing next week just every other day, then just like twice the next week or whatever you feel like. You will just be doing it less and less. Basically once you pull it out and it feels just as dry as when you put it back in there, then just keep it in the jar and not worry about burping it anymore.
Cool.. it seems thats the best opinion or most popular... i was rather interested in another method as well and may try with one jar to see.. instead of burping it they took the metal center out of the lid, put a paper towel over the jar and twisted just the ring on, saying that the paper towel allowed just enuff airflow to keep the moisture even throughout the bud, evaporating or whatever at an even rate outside to center makin for a great cure..
The cloth (paper towel in the method you mentioned) allows just enough air and moisture to escape, while still maintaining adequate heat. I use this method for "hot bucket" composting as I've dubbed it for lack of better knowledge maybe. I can see it working with the rags I have for this kind of thing. When the jar fills up with too much pressure (bad gases, heat, etc) it'll push air out through the rag but still maintain heat. Moisture also escapes. Dude, go for it. I'm going to snap a pic of my rags when I turn the lights on in an hour, give you an idea of the type I've been using for other stuff cause they'll be used for the same principles.
