Question for galvanized steel.

    I make new bongs offen, and im curious about using galvanized steel. i do not know if it is safe or not. Is it safe to use galvanized steel for the slide/bowl, near where fire will go for a long time.

    NO, the galvanized layer of zinc will give off toxic fumes as the melting point of the layer is lower than the temperatures a lighter is able to reach.

    NO! galanized steel is very very bad! Probably worse than smoking plastic. Ask any welder, thoes fumes are very bad for you. Stainless or brass.
