how can i tell if its off? the directions state 5 clicks on the unit turns it on and 5 clicks off... but the unit goes dead! so i think it stays on.. help!
This sounds like a malfunctioning battery. If the battery is retaining no power once it is turned off, it's doing something in idle or something is defective here. I would hit them up to get it replaced.
