Question bout harvesting/using left over plant matter

    Alright, so as some of you may know, I started growing in early October. I was told it would be too cold and wouldn't last through the winter.......Well, i ,moved my plant over to my friends house and her dad took it under his lights.

    He said he would grow it for me (he was already growing his own) If i gave up half the harvest....That's fine by me hahaha it's still free weed :D

    Anyways, just last week my friend said he wanted to harvest it already.... i thought about it and i dont think 3 months from seed to harvest was long enough. Should i ask him to flower it longer or will that make it less potent?? I know about checking the trichrome color but i'm not there (it's in south san jose, i'm in santa clara........over 13 miles between us) so i can't check it myself, or really explain what to do.

    Also, my other question is, would it be worth using the branches/leaves to make cannabutter or tea or anything???

    Thanks, and sorry if this belongs in the growing section, i just need some answers before he cuts down my baby.

    P.S. I'll have pics of the plant before/during/after the manicuring and harvesting process :D Since i MUST be there for that hahaha

    You can find the instructions/tutorials about how to make hash or honey oil. Good luck getting the solvents though.

    Hahaha i know i could bike it or longboard it, i've biked it multiple times, but i dont really wanna bike back with a bag of nugs and a bigger bag of stem/leaves.......my car's broken down right now so that's why i'm not driving. And i would hate to longboard it just cause of which streets i'd be taking (hella rocky, massive potholes, stupid drivers galore)

    And i was asking if I could get a decent amount of cannabutter with 1 or 2 plants. If anyone could answer that question that would be great. I'm not looking for how i could get there, or if i can make hash since i would like to make edibles with it, not smoke it, i got buds for that......

    Yeah you should be able to make a good amount of potent cannabutter off of two plants, depending on how large they are. I'd just throw away the stalks but use everything else, shade leaves and fan leaves. You should get a really potent stick of butter :smoking:

    Don't chuck the stalk!! You can use that for some pretty cool stuff, like making pipes and whatnot.

    Would the stalks have much THC? cause i got a food processor and i could chop it down real fine and boil it in the butter......And thanks for the answers, i might go harvest this weekend or next, i'll be sure to post pics when i do :D

    no, it will have hardly any thc, i wouldn't even bother with the stalk, good luck though
