Hi, Tried to tie down one of my plants tonite. Tied it around the bottom, and then tied higher up and pulled it down..... To much, the plant bent at a 90 degree angle. So I got a stick and straightened it up. Should I have left if bent at 90 degrees? I think it will live and continue to grow leaning on the stick, but I wasnt sure about bent 90. Help!!!
I guess I don't understand why you were bending it to begin with. If you don't have room for the plant to grow up why not just keep it cut back and pruned? Then you would get smaller buds but more of them. I wouldn't leave it bent, but you might have killed it. You also might try to use chicken wire or tomato plant cages to help.
it sounds alright...as long as it didnt snap right off...even if it did you would only promote growth from the nodes bellow it...
